Setting junior study aside, Australian study for adults falls into three broad tracks: language courses (ELICOS), vocational education and training, and higher education.

iWorld holds formal agreements with Australia's leading universities, including the research-focused G8 and the industry-focused ATN, with TAFE, the vocational training institution established by the Australian government, and with specialist colleges in each region.

01Language courses

We compare curriculums and costs across leading language schools to recommend the right course, from general English to academic English (EAP) and exam preparation.

By institution, language courses split between university and TAFE-attached programs and private language schools. By course type, they range from General English to exam preparation (IELTS, Cambridge) and academic English (EAP). A tourist visa allows up to 12 weeks of language study and a working holiday visa up to 17 weeks; for anything longer you will need a student visa.

02TAFE & vocational colleges

We guide you through career-linked programs in cookery, early childhood education, construction trades, and more, each designed with the next step in mind, whether that's a bachelor's transfer or skilled migration.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) is delivered through TAFE, established by the Australian government, and through private specialist colleges. Cookery, baking and patisserie, childcare, aged care, construction trades (carpentry, tiling, bricklaying, cabinet making), and automotive repair are among Australia's best-known vocational programs.

03University & postgraduate

Foundation years, diploma pathways, or direct entry: we propose the admission route that fits your grades and situation, and help prepare applications and study plans.

Higher education (HE) divides broadly into undergraduate and postgraduate study, covering bachelor's and master's degrees. Foundation, diploma (pathway), graduate certificate, and graduate diploma programs are offered as routes into them.
