Junior study needs to be prepared and started earlier than most families expect. For sought-after schools, the process should begin at least a year ahead. The route also changes depending on whether a parent will accompany the child, and on whether the student or the parent is the main applicant.

Through our local office network we arrange homestays, accompany school interviews, and provide regular reports to parents.

Students under 18 need a legal guardian. A parent can take that role, and where no parent can accompany the child, a relative can. If there is no relative available, the school can approve welfare arrangements with a homestay or a boarding facility and issue a CAAW (Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare), which allows the student visa application to proceed.
