[What is a VET course?]
VET, called ‘Vocational Education and Training’, is a practice-oriented education that focuses on practical and professional studies relevant to the profession. In this course, students will acquire practical skills and training that can be used in the workplace. VET is already being used as an ideal model in many countries and has great international recognition.
[VET course types]
AQF Level 1 ~ 4. Certificate I-IV
At this level, it provides introductory skills and related training in the field. It also provides opportunities to develop general skills and knowledge about the industry, including communication, numeracy, and teamwork.
AQF Level 5. Diploma
The purpose of the Diploma qualification type is to qualify individuals who apply integrated technical and theoretical concepts in a broad range of contexts to undertake advanced skilled or paraprofessional work and as a pathway for further learning.
AQF Level 6. Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree
The purpose of Advanced Diploma and Associate Degree qualifications is to qualify individuals who apply to underpin technical and theoretical knowledge in a range of contexts to undertake paraprofessional work and as a pathway for further learning.
Advanced Diploma provides high-level, practical learning to prepare for skilled work in professional fields such as accounting, building design, and engineering.
